We are not a booking platform and not a franchise. We manage these homes ourselves.

What we do

Sunset Housing looks after 47 furnished apartments — 42 of them in Santa Monica, the rest spread across West Hollywood, Los Angeles, Irvine and Santa Ana. We furnish them, clean them, answer the messages and handle the arrivals.

Because it is one team across every unit, the things that usually vary between rentals don’t: the linens are the same, the check-in works the same way, and the person answering you has been inside the apartment you booked.

Why book on this site

You will find many of these apartments on the big booking platforms. They add a guest service fee at checkout, and they sit between you and us for anything you need. Booking here removes both.

Longer stays

A good share of our guests stay for a month or more — relocations, film and production crews, medical placements, and people testing out the neighbourhood before signing a lease. If that is you, get in touch rather than booking night by night; we price extended stays differently.
